Thank you for choosing BuildEstimate AI. We want to ensure you have a positive experience with our AI-assisted construction estimation and BOQ software. Please read our refund policy carefully before purchasing any paid subscription.

Payment Security: Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. BuildEstimate AI does not store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details. All payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay as per their security standards.

Digital SaaS Subscription Nature

BuildEstimate AI is a digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. Subscription fees grant you access to our platform's AI-assisted estimation tools, BOQ generation, PDF reports, and related features for the duration of your billing cycle. Since our services are delivered digitally and consumed upon access, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital subscriptions.

Free Tier — Test Before You Pay

BuildEstimate AI offers a free tier (Basic Plan) that allows you to explore and test the core features of our platform before committing financially. We strongly encourage new users to evaluate the free plan before upgrading to a paid subscription.

Subscription Refunds

Because we offer a free tier for evaluation, we generally do not offer refunds on paid subscriptions (Pro or Enterprise plans) once the charge has been processed and services have been accessed.

  • Monthly Subscriptions: You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining days of the month.
  • Annual Subscriptions: If you accidentally purchased an annual subscription, you have a 3-day grace period to request a full refund, provided you have not generated more than 3 AI estimates or BOQs during that period.
  • No Refund for Misuse: Refunds will not be provided for accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service, including misuse of the platform, fraudulent activity, or use of AI outputs without proper professional verification resulting in claimed losses.
  • Already Consumed Services: No refund will be granted for services already consumed (e.g., estimates generated, PDF reports downloaded, blueprint scans completed) unless there is a verified technical error on our end.

Exceptions — When We May Grant Refunds

We may grant refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • A recurring, verified technical issue on our end that prevented you from using core platform features for an extended period despite your reports to our support team.
  • Fraudulent charges or billing errors caused by our payment gateway (Razorpay).
  • Duplicate payment due to a system error.

All refund exceptions are at the sole discretion of BuildEstimate AI and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your situation qualifies for a refund under the exceptions above, please email us within 7 days of your purchase. Your refund request should include:

  • Your registered account email address
  • Payment receipt or Razorpay order ID
  • A clear description of the issue and why you believe a refund is warranted

Refund requests submitted after 7 days of purchase will generally not be considered unless there is an ongoing verified technical issue.
